A God Story | Community Outreach

First, we want to give our deepest and warmest gratitude to the Metropolitan Baptist Church. Your hospitality to our School is not in vain nor was it just another kind act. It was and is always needed. This is your second year sponsoring families at our Learning Center. This year was very pressing. Every family that received your kind, significant, and “GENEROUS” donation really needed it in this pandemic. As I expressed, one of the recipients lost childcare assistance and was no longer employed. She was able to scout and successfully find employment because of your provisions.

Another family who works in law enforcement as a “Deputy”, needed assistance. You “NEVER” know what others are truly facing! Many professionals do not qualify for help because of their income. Their living expenses exceed their salary and really don’t meet all of their needs any longer. She now didn’t have to work overtime in exhaustion trying to make up the difference (and for some overtime is limited).

Another recipient was a single Dad taking care of his five-year-old Daughter by himself because his wife was not able to come back to the States due to this pandemic. Your kindness not only blessed them, but it was proof that God has not forgotten about us! I am literally in tears typing this. I sometimes question if God has really called me and my husband to educate his little people. Acts of Charity that you’ve displayed have been a manifestation of the fact that we are not forgotten and we are approved by God! Thank you all for being a light to us. You have truly fulfilled scripture.

When I was naked you clothed me, when I was hungry you fed me! – Matt. 25:31-40

Thank you MBC.

Sincerely,

Steps 2 Progress Learning Development Center
